About this release
Escape From New York's debut single Save Our Love brings new wave, disco, Italo and post-punk influences together. Originally released in 1983, a year before Fire In My Heart, the song features backing vocals from Jaki Graham and D.C. Lee. Isle Of Jura's official reissue includes the vocal track, Slow Beat (Dance Mix) and an instrumental version of Save Our Love. This red-cover edition includes an inner sleeve based on the original 1983 artwork. The three-track programme shows both the song-focused and instrumental sides of the band's electronic pop approach.
