About this release
Detroit drummer Gene Dunlap’s ‘Party In Me’ pairs with ‘Take My Love’ on this Selector Series 12-inch. Both songs come from his 1981 album ‘Party In Me’, following a career that included playing with Roy Ayers. The two-track pairing originally appeared as a promotional 12-inch in the same year. This edition returns to that A-side and B-side combination, remastered from the original tapes, presenting Dunlap’s early-eighties boogie across a single record.
