Larry Heard presents Mr White - The Sun Cant Compare

Larry Heard presents Memphis vocalist Mr. White, also known as Chad White, on a record that connects two sides of his house sound. 'You Rock Me' takes a soulful approach, while 'The Sun Can’t Compare' places White’s vocal over Heard’s acid production. Both tracks appear alongside edits on this Alleviated 12-inch, giving the full versions and shorter treatments space within one release. The contrast between the songs is the point: Heard’s feel for melody and voice sits beside the direct pull of an acid-house rhythm, with White providing the link between them.
