Oscar Later - The Moon Belongs To You EP

Oscar Later takes the idea of the Moon as a place nobody can own and turns it into six tracks of chopped breaks, blurred voices and restless synths. The solo project of one half of Once Twice, The Moon Belongs To You EP pulls fragments of old adverts and films into club music with an unusually dreamlike edge.

“Air Time For Andre” opens with broken rhythms and processed found sound, while “Wenlocked” builds from a slower sketch into something weightier. “Yaya” pushes towards straight techno; “It Never Made Sense” steps back from the dancefloor around a granulated vocal. The title track's vocoder and detuned synth sit neatly between those extremes. PROGRAMM LDN present the record in a limited vacuum-packed sleeve, with artwork by Will Millner and Josh Lowe.
