About this release
Queen Yahna's Ain't It Time brings a soulful vocal to a disco arrangement built around strings, horns and conga-led percussion. P&P's official seven-inch reissue pairs the Vocal version with the Instrumental on the reverse, giving the song's production its own side. The vocal performance sits at the centre of the first version, while the flip highlights the arrangement and rhythmic detail. The two-track single returns the original pairing to vinyl, connecting Yahna's soul delivery with the orchestral and percussive character of the disco recording.
