About this release
Pure Magic / F2 marks Spinscott's debut on Suburban Base Records, bringing his approach to jungle and drum & bass into the label's catalogue. A drummer, producer and performance DJ from the USA, he is known for live sets played in real time on drum machines and samplers. That combination of musicianship and electronic sequencing provides the background to this two-track single. The record pairs Pure Magic on the first side with F2 on the reverse, connecting his performance-led work with Suburban Base's jungle roots.
