About this release
Prescription revisits USG’s Life 4 Living, featuring Monica Elam, with a remastered reissue of the 1998 release. The record pairs the Vocal Life Mix with a Dub Mix, giving the song two extended treatments across the twelve-inch. Elam’s featured vocal places it in the soulful end of the label’s deep-house catalogue, while the reverse offers the alternative dub version. Issued under catalogue number PR-5014, this is the two-track Prescription edition: a focused return to a late-1990s release from a label closely associated with the sound of Chicago deep house.
