Khruangbin's Late Night Tales selection follows the Houston trio's listening across borders and back home. Nazia Hassan, Sanullim, Maxwell Udoh and Roha Band share space with Texas musicians Kelly Doyle and David Marez, connecting disco, soul, rock and reggae through the band's ear for a groove.

The group contributes its own version of Kool & The Gang's Summer Madness, while Tierney Malone and Geoffrey Muller close the collection with spoken word and a banjo interpretation of Erik Satie. This double vinyl edition contains fifteen unmixed tracks, preserving the individual recordings for listening and DJ use.
