Various - Kookoo Sampler Vol 1

Kookoo’s first sampler brings four house productions together on one twelve-inch. Mark Knight and Armand Van Helden open with the extended version of ‘Don’t Abuse It’, followed by Fabrikate’s rework of Cloud One’s ‘Disco Juice’. On the reverse, Full Intention contribute ‘Sky’s The Limit’ and Ewan McVicar closes with ‘Plain Outta Luck’. The selection connects disco source material with contemporary club production, drawing on recordings associated with Sharon Redd, Cloud One, D Train and Gayle Adams. The complete four-track selection is presented across two sides.
