About this release
Tropical Disco reaches the twenty-fifth instalment of its vinyl series with four selections that connect disco to jazz, funk and house. Sartorial opens with 'Hootin N Tootin', followed by Musta’s 'El Matador'. Corrado Alunni supplies the Dub Mix of 'Funk Decision', while Fun Kool closes the record with 'Low Toe'. The Italian contributors bring different angles to the label’s dancefloor-led approach, with touches of electro among the record’s influences. Across the four tracks, the compilation keeps the series’ disco focus while leaving room for each producer’s own arrangement and rhythmic emphasis.
