Amrak Seedna & Abtal Wa Harameyah brings together Ziad Rahbani's music for two theatre productions, originally issued on Lebanon's Relax-in label in 1987. Recorded at his By-Pass studio, the album mixes Arabic musical forms with funk, jazz fusion and touches of boogie, alternating songs with instrumental passages and short scene-setting pieces. The sequence includes Break, Al Jeel and Mashhad Al Hob, with twenty-two tracks making up the complete vinyl programme. Wewantsounds' WWSLP86 reissue uses audio remastered by Colorsound Studio in Paris and retains the original artwork. A two-page insert adds an English and French introduction by Mario Choueiry.
